The Need That We Serve:

We at RMA believe that the business person who plans is the business person who succeeds.
In order to be able to embark on that success, entrepreneurs from our community have a few basic needs that we’ve identified:

• They need business skills training, including preparing a business plan.
• They need hands-on practical guidance in bookkeeping, marketing, financial projections and negotiating with lenders.
• They need a standardized curriculum that is cost-effective, yet flexible and focused on the community level.

How We Do It:

NxLeveL™ Entrepreneurial Training Curriculum

RMA has adopted a proven national curriculum designed by the NxLeveL Education Foundation. Currently taught in 47 states, the program has a proven success record that many state Small Business Develop Centers have been utilizing for a number of years.

• RMA has 6 Certified Instructors who teach the curriculum.
• RMA is the State Administrator of the program for the State of South Carolina.
